Comfortable with your discomfort?

It is true to say that many of us complain about many things in our lives. To give just a few examples,  being overweight, spending money unnecessarily, not being able to say no, relying too much on alcohol, being stressed at work or having chewed nails. The big question is, are we prepared to change?

Maybe some of us are truly comfortable with our discomfort, but dig a little deeper and we usually find the desire to change if only we knew how. Sometimes we can make these changes using willpower alone and sometimes we need a little help and support.

When we begin to pull apart how we feel and examine it in more detail, stress and anxiety often lie beneath the surface. We may focus on the fact that we are, for example, overweight and therefore unhappy about that. But is that the root of our unhappiness? Why are we eating beyond the amount of food we need to be healthy? Why do we turn to alcohol at the end of a long day?

How can hypnotherapy help?

Hypnotherapy can help us to dig deeper into the 'why' and start to turn things around. It gives us a stepping off point to make positive changes. The key to making these changes are always in the hands of the client but guided by the hypnotherapist. Hypnosis allows the subconscious mind to make the desired changes.

The result? Perhaps changes in your lifestyle you wish you had made years ago.

Are you comfortable with your discomfort or are you ready for change?
