In the UK we are experiencing an obesity crisis, research suggests that more and more of the population will die from diseases related to obesity.
When people think of the type of work hypnotherapists do, weight loss is one of the first things that they think of. In fact weight loss hypnotherapy is complex and can often be difficult to achieve good outcomes.
The key to success in this area is to have a thorough understanding of obesity and the many elements involved in offering a hypnotherapy weight loss program.
Our one-day seminar will enable you to gain that understanding of obesity and equip you with the knowledge to develop your own hypnotherapy weight loss program, diverse enough to accommodate each client's individual requirements.
The seminar is suitable for qualified and student hypnotherapists.
You will learn:
- Definitions of obesity, measurement and prevalence.
- Causes and consequences of obesity.
- Contributors to obesity.
- Health consequences.
- Contributing factors.
- The problems of yo-yo dieting.
- What are set points?
- Super Morbid Obesity - what is SMO?
- The differences in working with SMO clients.
- Responsibilities of hypnotherapists working with obesity and super morbidly obese clients.
- Multi modal approaches.
- Client assessment.
- Overview of the hypnotherapy techniques to help your clients reduce weight.
- Client tasking.
Full course materials and certificate of attendance will be provided.
