The power of personal history
The therapeutic benefits gained from assisting a client to develop a coherent personal narrative cannot be underestimated. Most clients will never have had the opportunity of telling their own story in a safe, non-judgemental space. The story not only helps the therapist to understand their client at a deeper level, but it also helps the client to begin the process of self-acceptance, which is a vital aspect of any therapy.
On this one day course you will learn;
- how to elicit a client's personal history
- models of human development
- how to look for patterns
- the importance of attachment styles
The course is open to all student and qualified hypnotherapists, counsellors, and psychotherapists.
Our course abides by the code of ethics of the National Hypnotherapy Society.
The course fee is £205.00, to include course manual, lunch and light refreshments, and represents seven hours of verifiable CPD.
