Welcome to the TA101 course - An introduction to Transactional Analysis (TA).

As a counsellor and psychotherapist trained in the Transactional Analysis modality, I have found the theories and ideas to be so valuable are when it comes to understanding, unravelling and working with human behaviour.

TA has been around since the 1960s and is a proven therapeutic approach to helping those in distress. It is also used in many big businesses and organisations as a way of understanding and improving relationships between employers and employees.

This two-day TA101 course will give you valuable introduction into what it means to be a TA therapist which you can then take into further training if you wish. It’s also a great introduction for those who wish to use TA in the world of business, helping them to understand and work better with their employees, peers and partners.

During the workshop, we'll cover areas such as:

  • a brief history of TA Therapy and the three main schools of thought around TA
  • ego states
  • transactions
  • life scripts
  • drivers and injunctions
  • drama triangle and winners triangle
  • rackets and games
  • racket feelings
  • life positions
  • transference, counter-transference and projection
  • personality adaptations
  • working as a TA therapist
  • next steps in training in Transactional Analysis

This is a two-day workshop and no prior experience of TA or therapy is necessary. The course will be run online via Zoom on 11th and 12th December from 10am to 5pm - £175 per place. £15 Early bird discount until 31/08/21 using discount code TA101.
