SFH back to basics - 2 day CPD
About the course
This course is delivered by current CPHT lecturers with the aim of refreshing the solution focused hypnotherapy basics, and also introducing new material from the updated 2022 course content.
The course is suitable for qualified solution-focused hypnotherapists who have graduated with CPHT and wish to refresh their training and/or update their knowledge with the new CPHT course material.
It is ideal for CPHT graduates who have had some time off and want to resume their practice, or who just feel they need a bit more confidence in what we do.
Course content
Over two days, we will be covering:
- neuroscience – up to date research on the background to our processes
- the IC – information gathering, explanation of the vrain and adapting the IC for your client
- inconsequential language, the session structure and trance
- scaling and miracle question revision
- new and updated content from the 2022 CPHT HPD course including sections on solution focused brief therapy
- EEG – what happens in the brain during trance
- what is mental health
- vaping and smoking cessation module
- anchoring technique
- updated pain module
- performance and sport module
…and more if time allows.
About the presenter
Jane Fox, BSc (Hons), MSc, AHD, HPD, DSFH, SFH Sup (Hyp), MNCH (Acc), MAfSFH (Reg), MNCH (Reg). Jane Fox worked in Clinical Research within the Pharmaceutical Industry for 30 years before qualifying as a solution-focused hypnotherapist with CPHT Manchester in 2014. She went on to qualify as a SF Supervisor in 2018 and became Senior Lecturer with CPHT Sheffield in 2019 where she currently teaches the HPD course.
Jane continues to study in all things Neurological and Solution Focused, and she achieved the Advanced Hypnotherapy Diploma in 2022. As well as lecturing, Jane has a busy practice in South Manchester and enjoys supervising around 25 qualified hypnotherapist.
