Emotional eating is unrelated to eating for hunger or nutritional needs. Emotional eating is a habit. If you occasionally comfort eat it will not have much of an effect on your weight but if it becomes a fix you have built a habit, and if this is triggered by increasing feelings it becomes automatic.
This guided group hypnotherapy session will take the triggers that lead to emotional eating and bring them to awareness, allowing the mind body to distinguish between hunger and emotional eating and change habits around food and feelings.
The session will also involve the teaching of self-hypnosis so you can practice at home. A brief talk on the use of suggestions, effective visualisation techniques and reframing.
