This Back to Basics - diet & nutrition course, really is suitable for anyone who is interested in learning more about this really interesting subject.

So whether you are a therapist wanting to know more in order to help your clients better or you are simply interested in learning more in order to help yourself and your family in a safe and supportive environment then this is the one day workshop for you.

Understanding the basics could make a huge difference to your weight and your overall health, can you afford not to attend?

If you are a hypnotherapist, this workshop will help you to understand diet & nutrition more fully, so that you will be able to help clients more effectively in both the pre-talk, in hypnotherapy sessions and between sessions as it will allow you to provide more comprehensive and personalised scripts.

Family involvement and how to not freak them out

  • Planning and how it works.
  • Getting the family involved in menu planning and "inventing” meals.

Myths vs reality

  • Shopping on a budget but still eating healthily
  • How to shop well without it costing a fortune and avoiding a change that becomes unmanageable.
  • Balancing out what we eat to prevent deprivation.
  • How do I balance out what I eat so that I don’t keep putting on weight and stay on the roller coaster?
  • What we see dieting as and how to incorporate that into an easy change rather than a drastic and difficult to maintain change.

Maintaining a healthy weight – what it means:

  • Water works or waterworks?
  • The meaning of high calorie food.
  • What does eating poorly mean, including food and health.
  • Can I still eat what I love rather than restricting?
  • The truth about alcohol.

Your trainer for the day is Liz Lawrence who is qualified and very experienced in the field of diet & nutrition as well as being a qualified hypnotherapist and counsellor. A four day, more in-depth diet & nutrition course will be available later in the year.
