Sutton in Ashfield
Please note: This course is accredited by the Complimentary Medicine Association and you will receive a certificated qualification on completion of the workshop.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy focuses on the way people think, feel and act in order to help them overcome emotional and behavioural issues. It uses scientifically researched and tested methods to bring about effective change.
It is used to treat a long list of issues including addictions, anger, anxiety, depression, OCD, low self-esteem, panic, phobias, and PTSD. It has a natural synergy with hypnotherapy and the two approaches can be combined together to form a powerful toolkit of interventions that last well beyond the end of client sessions.
This course will take you through a wide range of practical Cognitive Behavioural Techniques that will enhance your ability to provide clients with easy to understand, long lasting strategies to overcome present and future difficulties.
In just a few steps you will learn to help clients; uncover the hidden beliefs that have held them back for years, change harmful or unhelpful behaviours’, and deal with negative or oppressive feelings. The course will contain all of the material you need to help clients make a shift from solving current problems to reaching future goals. There will be a comprehensive guide to CBT theory, practical exercises for you to use with clients, and all of the supporting paperwork and forms for you to run successful Cognitive Behavioural Techniques within your sessions.
