Accredited hypnotherapy practitioner diploma
Scarborough Academy of Hypnotherapy was set up by Amanda Craven following the development of her GHSC-accredited practitioner training course in Integrative Analytic Hypnosis® (IAH). Her unique training programme takes passionate novices to competent practitioners within nine weekends over nine months. Content includes everything you need to set up a successful practice, including business support and distance-therapy, plus modules on working with children, the elderly, and clients with tics and Tourette's Syndrome.
The courses are run in very small groups (max eight per group) to ensure trainees receive full support and supervision throughout, and trainees are carefully selected by Amanda through an interview process before being accepted onto the course.
"This is not a bog-standard, 'bums on seats' hypnotherapy course where the main aim is to make money," explains Amanda, "The emphasis is first and foremost on recruiting trainees who are passionate about the profession and will become ambassadors for IAH and the delivery of high quality hypnotherapy services." The course is constantly updated and incorporates the very latest in research.
