David is a co-founder of Curative Hypnotherapy one of the country's leading hypnotherapy clinics. All of our therapists are listed on the NHS Directory of Complimentary and Alternative Practitioners as well as being registered with the Hypnotherapy Association and the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council. Most of our therapists have advanced hypnotherapy qualifications that exceed the requirements for registration with the awarding bodies and every therapist has extensive experience of treating the full range of conditions listed at the bottom of the page. The Clinic has practices across the West Midlands including Stourbridge and Birmingham.
In the mid 1990s David contracted ME and for almost two years was essentially bed ridden with the condition. After a long period searching for a conventional or alternative treatment in 1997 he found curative hypnotherapy, the treatment helped him make a full recovery. This experience gave David the compassion, desire and understanding (not to mention the strength) to help others with the full range of conditions using curative hypnotherapy and so he co-founded the Curative Hypnotherapy Clinic.
David has gained a reputation for providing a careful, caring and skilled approach with patients suffering from a wide variety of physiological and psychological problems listed further down the page.
Professional Standards
David abides by the Codes of Ethics of the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC) and the Hypnotherapy (HA).
The GHSC and HA both require that all registered therapists have regular meetings with a clinical supervisor/peer mentor to discuss their work with patients.
David meets for 2 hours each month with his peer mentor.
He undertakes ongoing training every year, in order to keep up to date with new developments in Hypnotherapy and NLP.

Training, Qualifications & Experience
David is a highly qualified and experienced curative hypnotherapist. He originally trained with a General Hypnotherapy Standards Council registered training school and can therefore be listed on the NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners as an NHS Trusts Association Complementary Practitioner.
David has since gone on to complete advanced curative hypnotherapy training at Birminghams Therapy Training College, as well as having partaken in many extension courses on, for example, NLP and EMDR.
In the mid 1990s David suffered from ME/CFS whilst studying science at Nottingham and Leeds universities, throughout his degree he used his scientific understanding to establish the most effective treatment for his condition which led to his recovery. After graduating he used the skills he gained to evaluate the alternative medicine therapies used in the treatment of a large range of conditions to find the most effective. He has since developed these therapies for use in his practice.
