Profile

I am a fully qualified hypnotherapist, offering gentle and effective ways of resolving difficulties in your life. I can help with resolving phobias, stress, anxiety or any related issues. I also help with weight control, stopping smoking, any exams or tests, some physical symptoms and many other symptoms which people do not usually think could be helped by this therapy.  I also now undertake weight management programmes which include "Gastric Band" Hypnosis which has proved to be very effective. Hypnosis is a very quick and safe way to resolve problems and an initial consultation with me is absolutely FREE (except for the smoking cessation as this should only take one session!)

I am open most Saturdays and two evenings per week.  I am also starting small therapy groups for weight control, self esteem, and maybe even some stress-busting meditation classes!

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I studied psychology and counselling some 30 years ago, but went into law and became a property lawyer. However I returned to the study of the mind and hypnotherapy in particular. I qualified in hypnotherapy and psychotherapy and am a member of the International Association of Pure Hypnoanalists. I am also a member of the NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners, and a member of the Hampshire Chamber of Commerce.  I am also a licensed consultant for the "Thrive Programme", which helps with many chronic symptoms such as bulimia, depression, ME, OCD, etc.
