Before qualifying as a Hypnotherapist, Maria worked as a Registered General Nurse within the NHS, where she had more that 30 years clinical experience. It was during this time that she became aware of the effect of mind on the body and visa versa and developed a interest as to how this is.
Since that time Maria followed her ambition to complete her Hypnotherapy training with the Contemporary College of Therapeutics, a well established London based training school and has continued to up-date her skills ever since. More recently, she has successfully completed a Certificate in Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Treatment by Gut Orientated Metaphor, a well researched method for treatment of this debilitating condition.

From September 28th 2011 Maria will be running a Group Hypnotherapy Weight loss Course at Radbrook Community Centre, Shrewsbury, for 6 consecutive weeks.

Maria practices from rooms within Cedar House Clinic, Shrewsbury Business Park and helps clients to Stop Smoking, works with a range of conditions e.g. Anxieties/Stress, Fears & Phobias e.g. flying, driving spiders, vomiting, Behaviours/Habits, Low Self-esteem/Confidence by helping people to reaching their potential. Her therapy also includes Weight Loss techniques for Emotional Eating and for those with more than 2 stone to lose she uses a Hypnotic Gastric Band and enjoys helping people to reach their potential.

Maria has been running a successful hypnotherapy practice for a number of years
seeing clients with a range of conditions falling into various categories such as Anxieties/Stress, Phobias, Behaviours/Habits to name a few and helping people to reach their potential by exploration of subconcious motivation.

Fees

Each session runs from 50 minutes and up-to 1 hour

Costs = £48 per session.

The number of sessions required will vary dependant on the condition being treated and this will be estimated during the first assessment consultation.

Smoking Cessation
Costs £120 for 1 session lasting 2 hours.
