Profile

Working in North Dorset, between Gillingham and Shaftesbury, and also Salisbury and Poole, I provide therapeutic support and guidance for emotional difficulties such as phobias (including fear of flying), stress, anxiety, exam nerves, blushing, anger management, eating disorders, weight issues including virtual Gastric Band Hypnosis, smoking addiction, depression and low self-esteem. I see adults and children over the age of 8 years.
I believe that everyone has the ability to take control of their life but sometimes they may need some help to do so. Not only can I provide this help through individually personalised hypnotherapy sessions, I also teach self-hypnosis techniques which the client can draw upon if faced with future life challenges.
I first became interested in hypnotherapy over 25 years ago and successfully gave up smoking as a result!
As an accredited, fully qualified counsellor I can use further skills such as NLP, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and other counselling techniques if required by the client to enhance our work together.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I am a fully qualified, accredited member of the General Hypnotherapy Register and a fully qualified UKRCP and BACP accredited Counsellor and Supervisor.
I have many years of experience, having worked in health centres including a GP practice, school, Further Education College and University Centre. I receive referrals from businesses, charities and directly from the public.
