I have been in practice since 1986. I specialise in Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), anxiety / stress, emotional recovery after cancer / trauma. I have a busy practice based at Guardian Medical Centre in Warrington, Cheshire, and since September 2011 at Park Surgery, Middlesbrough.
I have a wide experience working with conditions of mind, body and emotions, in addition to the above, areas such as weight loss, exam nerves, self confidence and phobia removal, weight loss, panic and confidence and self esteem issues, amongst others.
I work closely with referring GPs and consultants especially in the gastroenterology and oncology fields. My IBS Audio Program 100 for adults is used by a leading UK and European referral hospital, qualifying my reputation as one of the leaders in this field.
In July 2011, I was in vited to attend the Queens garden party in recognition of my work in innovative health solutions, through my self help audio programs.
I offer a free informational leaflet covering many questions which you may have. Should you decide to come for an initial consultation, you can be sure of a professional, relaxed and caring service, in a modern medical centre settings with relaxed surroundings. Only 10 minutes walk from Warrington town centre, there is ample free parking for medical centre visitors.
My Teesside practice is in Middlesborough, at Park Surgery in the One Life Centre, a mordern purpose built practice with free patient parking.
I am privileged to have won several innovation and research awards for my work in IBS and Cancer. I have research and patient piloting experience.
I am the author of the highly acclaimed IBS Audio Program 100 which is currently used in 43 countries.
Whatever your problem, if it is affecting your life, it should be treated seriously. And after 25 years in practice, it is very unlikely you will tell me something I have not heard before, even though it might be the first time you tell anyone!

Training, Qualifications & Experience
Training is ongoing, even after nearly 25 years! Qualifications include Certificate in Hypnosis and Masters in Hypnotherapy. I hold membership of several primary care society organisations.
My experience is wide and diverse and work is mentioned in 7 or 8 books and my services trusted and respected by many in the medical and health professions.
I have written several articles for publication, and simply enjoy the work I do.
