Stephen started learning about therapy at a emotional education center in Derbyshire then came across to NLP/Hypnosis in 2000 helping people Stop Smoking and dealing with addictions.
He also worked for a drug/alcohol rehabilitation program and was introduced to what co-dependency is and how it works in relationships.
For the last ten years he used analysis to find out some of the causes of anxiety and then began to understand how attachments are the roots of our suffering.
Everyone at some time or another experience feelings of what is known as insecurity or anxiousness. By understanding or knowing why we are not confident can be confusing and very lonely and sometimes finding the right help and guidance can be beneficial to thriving again.
There are different styles of stop smoking sessions. He tends to use an approach of detachment from associations with the help of hypnosis that gives you back control, so you can grow out of smoking and or any other addiction for good.
People mainly consult a therapist because they feel like their lives are out of control, Stephen sees his job quite simply in helping you to feel fulfilled, back in control, more confident and relaxed about you and your life as quickly as possible.

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with
* If you have been diagnosed or suspect you may have one of the medical conditions starred above, you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies or treatments.
Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with
Understanding attachments and how they cause anxiety, stress, panic and most negative emotions.
Firstly, if you would like to have a chat on the phone I'm happy to arrange a time.
There is a course or block booking by advanced payment of 4 sessions get the fifth session free. The fees for an hour's session are normally £50.00. If there are other cases of a clear need then there is a willingness to reduce fees: please just ask.
Smoking cessation fees are usually £90 for the one session (an hour and a half). This is because the money is easily recovered in a couple of weeks and ex-smokers can normally stay as non-smokers without any effort after that time.
It is my aim to assist you through those two weeks of being a non-smoker, even if it takes more than one session. Some people may require more sessions and I am there for them too.
Value for Money
I don't know how value can be measured in therapy. The important thing is to give the best with the knowledge and experience. A therapist can point out, reflect and help to find the problem within ourselfs. We all have free will and if a person is willing to see things from a different point of view change and emotional growth will happen.
