About me
I have been practicing in Shropshire for over twenty years and work from both the Natural Health Centre Shrewsbury, and at osteopathy plus Bridgnorth.
My specialisms are helping those with phobias, anxiety related disorders and relationship issues.
I hold master classes in pain relief and smoking cessation.
I ran personal growth courses with my husband for some years before grandchildren took all our extra time! I frequently give talks to schools and small groups.
I have studied different faiths and use the spiritual element of our natures when it feels relevant to the client.
Training, qualifications & experience
DipH (NRHP)
My institute requires thorough ongoing professional development. Other techniques I have studied are EFT , NLP Family constellations and I qualified as an esoteric healer. My interests have led me to study aspects of various religions and faiths and several forms of meditation. I have some experience working with sexual issues. I am also able to introduce the basic concepts of mindfulness in relation to depressive thinking and compulsive thoughts.
Previously an MLSO in clinical biochemistry, I work with the affect of visual memory on emotion - and so to biochemistry.
Life is the greatest qualification - I find parents grieving for the loss of a child find me - as that is a loss I know. Likewise these days - widows dealing with bereavement.
I had a severe height phobia myself for many years - Since starting my work that is no longer an issue - I have photos taken at 10,400ft ! I understand the paralysing and illogical nature of phobias.
As a couple my husband and I have undertaken a lot of challenging couples workshops - because being married is an excellent way to learn about the difficulties of relating to another human being ! I was widowed in 2016 and moved to Shrewsbury

The National Register of Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists (NRHP) was formed to promote the skilled use of hypno-psychotherapy. There are a number of different membership categories e.g. Associate 1, Associate 2, Associate 3 and Full Member, with the different categories standing for different levels of training and experience. Regulated Members of NRHP are obliged to meet all the rules and regulations of NRHP including the Code of Ethics and Professional Practice and the Guidelines for Supervision and Continuing Professional Development.
