Profile

I have been helping people fix their problems with hypnotherapy since 1989. My  reputation is a warm, caring and effective therapist. Thousands of people from six years old to ninety have benefitted from my help. My aim is to help you become stronger from the inside, so life's demands no longer feel so overwhelming or confusing. Why put up with something inside yourself but out of your control?

bereavement,  fears and phobias,   fear of flying,   panic attacks,  insecurity,  low self esteem,   insomnia,   depression,   eating disorders,  overweight,   habits,   public speaking,  exams,   anxiety,   performance nerves,   anger management,  compulsions,   sexual or emotional problems,   concentration,   sports performance, pain and childbirth. 

Some very focussed problems usually need from one to three sessions only. More convoluted problems such as depression, chronic anxiety, lack of confidence need deeper therapy.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

In 1968 I gained a B.Sc honours degree in psychology from London University. Since then I have worked on research in the area of sleep learning. I first trained in hypnotherapy with The International Association of Hypno-analysts in 1988 and am now a member of the National register of Advanced Hypnotherapists and the goverment recognised CNHC. I am also on the NHS list.

Also I am a trained and qualified teacher (PGCE) which is helpful experience when working with children, especially as their problems are often related to school experiences.

I have run stress management courses for teachers, educational advisors and vets as well as for individuals.
