Hi, my name is Trevor and I am a fully qualified hypnotherapist with 10 years experience.
I first became aware of hypnotherapy when I contacted a hypnotherapist to deal with a fear of flying. This was a huge success and I have flown many times since without issue. I also dealt with some issues as a result of The Falklands War in 1982. This helped me put things in perspective and to move on from the events of 1982. I was determined to become a hypnotherapist so that I could help other people deal with similar issues and to make a difference to people in their general every day life.
I specialise in smoking cessation, weight control, stress management and PTSD. Although the techniques and methods I have gained can also be applied to help you in overcoming other problems and areas in your life. My aim is to create a warm, relaxing, professional environment to help you make positive transformations in your life.
With hypnosis you can eliminate your problems at source and replace them with positive beliefs and behaviours in a life transforming way. Hypnosis is a valuable tool that can help you achieve your goals and help you make the positive changes that you truly want.

Training, qualifications & experience
I qualified as a hypnotherapist in 2005 gaining the General Qualification in Hypnotherapy (GQHP). Later that same year I studied for the Diploma qualification (D.Hyp). In 2010 I successfully gained my Senior Qualification in Hypnotherapy (SQHP).

Migraine & Headaches
Many migraine attacks are caused by stress triggers. Learning to avoid those triggers or your response to them can help in the treatment of migraines and tension headaches. Hypnosis can help indirectly with any kind of pain that is triggered by stress. This is achieved by teaching deep and rhythmic breathing exercises, progressive muscle relaxation and visualisation or 'guided imagery
The causes of low confidence or self esteem are numerous. With hypnosis I look to address the root cause of the confidence problems and I use techniques that teach you how to change the way your mind and imagination think. Instead of producing destructive, repetitive low confidence thoughts, you learn how to produce thoughts that are positive and productive to your life therefore improving your confidence.
Driving Test Nerves
Driving instructors will tell you that many people fail their driving test not because of lack of technical ability or driving skills but because of anxiety or driving test nerves. Therefore passing the driving test is often as much about confidence and a relaxed and focused approach as anything else. Hypnosis can help you prepare mentally and to focus and relax ahead of the driving test itself.

Improve your golf with hypnosis!
As a keen golfer I have developed self hypnosis sessions to help improve my golf. I lowered my handicap by 10 since I started using these techniques! With more time to play I believe I could lower my handicap much further.
Think about the last time you played golf and executed a shot exactly as you intended. Each and every movement performed the way you envisioned. The golf ball landed or rolled to the exact spot you intended.
Where was your mind at the moment your golf club made contact? What physical sensations did you experience? Did you feel uneasy or tense? No absolutely not! Your body was relaxed and performed exactly as it should. The shot had everything right about it and was effortless.
You were in "THE ZONE". Getting to this place physically and mentally will improve your golf game.

Available from £65 per session - Your initial consultation will include an in depth conversation with regards to your requirements and goals. I will gather relevant information that will help me recommend the best way forwards to help you achieve your goals.
The first session is approx 1 hour to 1 ¼ and subsequent sessions usually last around an hour.
Smoking cessation is completed in a single session which lasts around 1 ¾
