Hello, my name is Tracey and I came across Hypnotherapy whilst I was going through a difficult personal time at work.
I was struggling with everyday life and didn't want to take medication for fear of becoming reliant on it - it was then that I discovered Hypnotherapy. Because of the impact it had on my own life, I then decided to train as a Hypnotherapist to help other people.
I qualified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and whilst doing that, gained a qualification in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and a diploma in Winning Weight Loss. I am also qualified in the (Emotional Freedom Technique), the Menopause Relief Programme and OldPain2Go™.
I have been a qualified Primary School Teacher for over 20 years, working more recently in Special Educational Needs and have specialisms in Language and Communication Impairment in Children and Social, Emotional and Mental Health. I also have personal experience of Autism.
I am a qualified Adult Mental Health First Aider and am also a QPR For Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper, so you can be assured that you are in safe hands - your well being is at the heart of what I do.
I love working with children and young people and am an instructor for the Massage In Schools Programme and Story Massage. I have a wealth of experience and although I specialise in working with women and children, I like to help everyone!
No issue is too small or too silly and will be treated in complete confidence.
Please give me a call to see how I can help you!

Chrysalys Kids - Hypnotherapy for Children and Young People
One of the things I most enjoy about my work is helping children and young people and I offer a specialised service just for them.
I love to see them let go of worries and anxieties and see them build up their self confidence again.
What sorts of problems do I typically see children for?
Some problems are very common and, depending on the cause, usually respond very well to Hypnotherapy:
Bedwetting, General anxiety, Separation anxiety, Fears and Phobias, particularly fear of dogs being the most common, I also work with students who are experiencing Exam Related Stress, School bullying, Thumb sucking, Nail biting and various compulsive habits, Childhood Tics and Tourette's, Selective eating, Selective Mutism, Anger problems, Lack of confidence and Poor Self-esteem.
Please contact me to find out how I can help your child or young person if you are not sure.
I currently have practices in Heworth and Wigginton in York.
Both have washroom facilities and my Wigginton practice has disabled access.
