Hypnotherapy is a safe, powerful psychotherapeutic tool which can be used to break the negative cycle of depression and anxiety. Hypnotherapy is a type of complementary therapy that uses hypnosis, which is an altered state of consciousness.
It can help with addictions, anger, blood pressure, weight control, lack of confidence, insomnia, IBS, relationship/marital difficulties, migraine, nail biting, nightmares, obsessions, panic attacks, fears, phobias, stress and many more.
I am using hypnotherapy to help you to make changes to your thoughts, feelings, habits or behaviours. Hypnotherapy is safe and natural; it feels just like daydreaming. In this state, your mind is able to take on board new ways of thinking and feeling at deep level. These changes happen easily and permanently.
I am a Level Two Mindfulness-based Interventions Teacher with London Meditation, recognised by the UK Network for Mindfulness-Based Teacher Training and certified Mindfulness-based Awareness Coach (recognised by the Association for Coaching). I am attending Masterclasses at OMC and will obtain a Certificate of Readiness to Teach in the Workplace in November.
The idea behind mindfulness is to be aware of thoughts and emotions – and to understand the difference between them.
Being mindful means living more fully in the present moment rather than worrying about the past and the future. It mean learning to experience the world in a more immediate way without being constantly overwhelmed by stressful thoughts, feelings and emotions.
Whilst hypnotherapy is a wonderful tool that harnesses the power of the unconscious mind to tackle problems and make changes, mindfulness makes a perfect bed partner, because it allows us to really focus on what’s important now, acknowledging all the other ‘stuff’ and just letting it go.
Mindfulness may have its origins in the meditative techniques of the Buddhist monks, but this is truly mind training for the 21st century. There’s no need for incense, chanting or crossed legs. All you need is a moment.

Training, qualifications & experience
My name is Tina Bakardzhieva and I am a qualified and insured hypnotherapist, registered with the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. I am a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist trained for a Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma at The Clifton Practice (branch of the leading hypnotherapy clinic in South West) .I do have a Mindfulness diploma and currently study Mindfulness Coaching.I am a member of Anxiety UK. I am caring, professional and enjoy great results.
I had 4 sessions with Tina due to a fear I developed around needles and getting injections. After these sessions I now feel more comfortable with this and more aware of how to control my feelings towards the issue. Hypnotherapy has helped me to have a greater understanding of how the brain works and to be able to think more positively about life generally. I have learnt how to control my brain in different situations, i.e. switching off at night and as a result of this feel more relaxed all round. Overall it has made a very positive impact on my life. Thank you.

“I was sceptical of having hypnotherapy sessions as always thought how could this possibly work. My mind was in overdrive and I was overthinking about everything. I was thinking about the past, what the future was going to hold for me. I couldn’t sleep and therefore felt absolutely shattered all the time. I had no enthusiasm and zest for life. I had six sessions with Tina and I couldn’t believe how my frame of mind changed within no time at all. I was able to sleep through the night and my zest for life came back. I regained my sense of humour and became my old self again.”

“I cannot thank you enough for what you have done for me.I would like to say how grateful I am for all the profesionalism and care.Previously only 1-2 hours per night. After 1 session I have slept through for 7 hours, despite my resovations.
I’ve experienced a difference in my relaxation, and mood, and confidence. But most of all is the way I look at my problems and how to solve them.It has been truly amazing experience!
Once we got to the ‘root’ of my problem and all this bottled up emotion was released it we like a very large weight had been lifted off my shoulders…
I am now very glad to say that not only has hypnotherapy helped me get rid of my problem, it has also given me so much confidence and a whole new outlook on life in general for which I am very grateful.
I will never be able to thank you enough but…Thank you.”

I just wanted to say thank you so much for your support in helping me understand my mind! We are half way through a lovely holiday in Mallorca and I couldn't of got here without your help. The fight was great as I concentrated on my breathing and listened to your recording during take off (2 glasses of wine too!) I feel like another world has opened up now and I am not at all anxious about return flight. Thanks again, I would not have got here without your help. Looking forward to booking next abroad holiday already!

Tina is a lifesaver, literally!I have been smoking more than 40 years, since I was 16.My grandfather died from smoking.I have tried quitting many times but the idea of never smoking again was terrifying!I’ve tried acupuncture, vaping, patches etc.Nothing worked! So I looked into hypnotherapy and found Tina.I was VERY skeptical but I was willing to try anything. She saw me on a Monday and we spoke for the first hour. She was very kind and understanding, like sitting in a friend’s living room and chatting. When she performed the hypnosis it wasn’t like you see in the movies.I was totally aware of what was going on but very relaxed. When I left the session I was still skeptical.I got in my car and just didn’t feel like smoking!Tina took the terror away that you feel when you quit smoking!I haven’t smoked a cigarette in over 6 months now!I think about smoking every once in awhile but when the thought crops up I just remind myself I’m a non-smoker and the thought goes away!Tina is a miracle worker! She has saved me!

I am a thinker.Correction.I am an over-thinker.
Maybe it is because of my Gemini rising.Maybe it is because my Moon is in Venus.
Maybe it is just because.
I love to think. And think and think some more.I like to think so much that my thinking becomes a combination of therapeutic and detrimental all at the same time.
Am I alone?
I meet many thinkers on my path.Partly because like attracts like and partly because I love meeting people who think deeply and like to express deeper thoughts.
All of this is great, except when my thinking becomes detrimental.
What is detrimental thinking?
- Thinking to the point of stress or anxiety
- Thinking that causes you to feel confused or stunted in making decisions
- Thinking that causes obsessive behaviours like over eating or over analyzing
- Thinking that creates an energetic cloud or fog over your life and aura
This is why it is so important to learn how to tame those thoughts and to shift your focus and awareness out of your mind and into your heart.
Everyone talks about following their heart, but what does this really mean? For a thinker, following your heart may seem somewhat foreign.
Following your heart is really about feeling your decisions and acting without the need to break things down again and again in your mind.
It is about turning off that ‘thinking portion’ of the brain and just switching into action mode.
Your heart or your feelings are then able to protect you and guide you to making the right decision, which is essentially the decision that feels good.
This definitely takes practice, but when you start to channel this way of thinking you not only feel freer and happier, but you also feel more motivated to make decisions and less caught up in the thoughts going through your mind.
When you stop the obsessive compulsive thoughts and get connected with your heart your life will change.
