I have been a therapist for over 20 years and feel passionate about finding ways forward when life can be unbearable. I work full time as a professional therapist which means that I encounter and work with many people experiencing problematic thoughts, feelings and behaviours daily.
HOW I WORK
I plan each individual hypnotherapy sessions based on your unique needs and targets to create a Personal Support Programme and where appropriate integrate with counselling, psychotherapy and CBT. During our work together you can expect to develop new awareness and understanding of your own behaviours, thoughts and life patterns and can find more appropriate alternatives . I have professional insurance and have a designated therapy room and there is plenty of parking and transport links to M1, A38, bus route and local train stations.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Your therapy begins after the Complimentary 30 minute Consultation Session when you get chance to meet and discuss your needs and ask any questions and identify your aims and goals, You can book your first session to ensure we make the best use of your time and money and achieve the outcomes you want. You will be listened to in complete confidentiality without being judged, in the calm, welcoming therapy room.
HOW HYPNOTHERAPY CAN HELP
Hypnotherapy can do amazing things. You already have the power within your own subconscious mind to resolve issues and make the changes you want to make, you probably just haven’t realised it yet!

We have been away for a couple of holidays since we last spoke and I have enjoyed a glass of wine occasionally with my husband, but no more than 2 glasses!

'I approached Sue when I knew that I did not have the ability to control my desire for 'a glass of wine' at tea time' which always led to one or two more after tea!, this had become a habit and certainly wasn't healthy. Moreover, social occasions usually meant I got a little tipsy - much to my partner's dismay!
I had also become overweight which concerned me too - health guidelines meant I could be a candidate for diabetes, heart problems etc.

HOW TO FIND US
My comfortable, discreet practice is based in the outskirts of Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. It’s quick to find, 2 miles from junction 28 of the M1 just off the Mansfield A38, easily accessible by car, 2 local railway stations (Sutton Parkway and Kirkby) and bus route (Trent Barton 3A & 3B). It’s in easy reach of Mansfield, Nottingham, Chesterfield, Newark, Derby and Alfreton. There is plenty of free on and off road parking available.
Weekdays (excluding Fridays till 5) 9:15am to 7pm. Saturday by arrangement
