About me

I’m a highly-experienced professional clinical hypnotherapist specialising in anxiety, sleep, weight, emotional and performance issues.

Hearing from clients about how much they’ve got from their hypnotherapy sessions is incredibly rewarding and is a large part of what I find immensely satisfying about my work. Seeing my clients achieve the personal breakthroughs that are important to them is a tremendous privilege.

Recent client feedback includes:-

"Intelligent, warm, friendly man", "Other approaches never seemed to get to the bottom of my problems", "I was treated with the utmost respect and nothing was overlooked", "He filled me with confidence".

I work online and I have hypnotherapy clinics in central Norwich and Poringland, South Norfolk.

I offer free initial consultations, either as stand-alone phone appointments or combined with a 50 minute first hypnotherapy session via Zoom or FaceTime at a discounted rate. At the end of your initial appointment I will provide you with an estimate of the number of sessions that I consider we are likely to need, based on the information you have shared with me.

My interest in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) began over 20 years ago in a business training context, and later, when I became drawn to using hypnosis for therapeutic purposes and personal change, I gained the HPD (Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma) as the foundation for my work with clients.

I see modern hypnotherapy as a way of supporting people gain more control and freedom in their lives in areas that they cannot seem to positively affect long-term through conscious determination and will-power alone.

By focussing on what we “do want” rather than what we “don’t want or fear”, hypnosis and hypnotherapy can be harnessed to help us experience life differently.

Releasing the emotional charge linked to past experiences and updating the personal significance of those historical events can also be helpful in supporting us achieve the life changes we want.

If you would like to know more about me, my approach to hypnotherapy, or to arrange an appointment, then do take a moment to contact me by phone, text or online form - I would be delighted to hear from you. Alternatively, you can click through to my website where there is a wealth of information to guide you.

My aim in working with clients is to support them achieve lasting success in relation to their personal goals in the smallest number of sessions possible.
