About me

Welcome.

Me
I am a fully qualified Cognitive Hypnotherapist and NLP Master Practitioner who gets enormous joy and satisfaction from my practice.

Cognitive Hypnotherapy

Cognitive Hypnotherapy has a modern and scientific approach, using techniques which have been cherry-picked from a number of other validated theories such as Neuroscience, NLP, Positive Psychology, Evolutionary Psychology, EFT and EMI. They are superbly adaptable for the individual.

You

No one person is the same as any other. No limitation or difficulty stems from exactly the same circumstances for any two people. So you, as my client, receive bespoke therapy designed around your unique needs and the way you experience your world.

Me again

My background in yoga teaching before studying Cognitive Hypnotherapy gave me a good understanding of the profound interlinking of mind, body and emotion and the response each has to change in the other.

Us

I guide my clients towards their goals and help them empower themselves to continue without me once therapy is complete. The number of sessions for each client is kept as low as possible and generally ranges from 2 to 6 sessions. Many layered issues may require longer.

I truly hope we meet and I have the opportunity to get to know you and help you become as you would like to be.

Online Therapy

Face to face online therapy via Skype or Facetime means getting help for problem issues is available to everyone.

If you are unable to travel to my premises, for whatever reason, it is a real option for us to work together online.

Over the previous 18 months I have been treating more and more clients online. Liaising and sharing information and feedback with other trusted hypnotherapists who use this medium has helped to refine techniques and approach for best results.

Training, qualifications & experience

Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD) externally verified and accredited by the NCFE, a National Awarding Body, meeting all the learning outcomes of the National Occupational Standards for Hypnotherapy in the UK and validated by the National Council for Hypnotherapy.

I have a Diploma in Cognitive Hypnotherapy with the internationally renowned Quest Institute, having been trained by its founder Trevor Silvester at Kings College, London, externally validated by the National Council for Hypnotherapy. My NLP practitioner status was obtained also through the Quest Institute.

I have been in private practice for some years now and have good experience of a wide variety of issues.

I participate in new training and updating of previous training on an ongoing basis. This has included courses in

Stopping Anyone from Smoking, Conversational Metaphor, Lifting Depression, Treating Anxiety, Mindfulness, Relaxation

Saturday and Sunday sessions last 60 to 120 minutes and cost £100

Further information

As Cognitive Hypnotherapy most frequently deals with the source of the limitation or problem as well as its manifestation in behaviour almost every behavioural, emotional or thought limitation can be addressed.

I offer LIFE COACHING with a difference - where you find you are not able to move forward or achieve your goals, we ascertain what is blocking you, and work together to remove these limitations.
