About me

“I often think about you and how you have changed my life"

Smoking, anxiety, phobias, addiction, birth, habits, eating, trauma, stress, alcohol and more....
I am a fully qualified Hypnotherapist and have helped hundreds of clients address a wide variety of issues. Most people have questions prior to booking, so feel free to email or call me to discuss things further. I offer a fully confidential service and would be delighted to help you.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Anyone can be hypnotised - as long as they want to be. You are in control at all times and cannot be made to do anything you don't want to. If you come with an open mind and a real desire to change I can help you find it easy. It's a deeply relaxing experience and many clients also notice a big improvement in quality of sleep and their own ability to unwind. Contact me to find out more...

"It was an amazing experience"

HOW I WORK
I hold appointments at a friendly clinic, in a relaxed, comfortable, secure environment. It is really important to me that you feel at ease throughout our time together. For most issues I work on a session-by-session basis, depending on your history and how you respond to treatment. (With the exception of my specialist programmes, detailed below). The first session usually lasts 2hrs and involves an in-depth discussion before we begin the hypnotherapy. Every client is different so it is impossible to say how many sessions you might need, but as a guide the average is around 3-4, with sessions lasting between 1-2hrs.

I also offer individual programmes for specialist areas and one-off relaxation sessions (please see the fees section for further details).

"We both loved the hypnosis and had the best sleep after"

TESTIMONIALS

“Just thought I’d let you know I’m still going strong. I believe I’ve had every test under the sun and still no failure! I’m loving life. I will continue to recommend people to you, thanks again” – Anon, Sidcup (Cocaine)

"[The hypnosis] was specifically tailored to my needs. Sarah is a great listener and made me feel very at ease. She has helped me to get to the root of my problems and has helped me to develop coping mechanisms. Thank you so much for your dedicated care" Claire, Greenhithe (Anxiety & Depression)

"Just one session and I thought of myself as a non-smoker for the first time in 20 years. Knowing I could go back if I wobbled was a great support on tough days, though I never needed to. I was always sceptical about whether hypnotherapy would be for me, but it couldn't have been a better decision and Sarah's sensible, straightforward and personalised approach put me at my ease from the start" Hannah, Waltham Abbey (Smoking)

“I can’t thank you enough, I feel so positive. I’ve not had a binge day since seeing you. It makes me feel so happy – thank you once again” Sue, Bexley (Comfort eating)

"My hypnobirthing sessions with Sarah were invaluable! Despite my birth plan not going to plan, hypnobirthing made me realign my thought process regarding hospitals & intervention & gave me back the empowerment that I wanted for my birth. My baby was born in a calm and peaceful environment thanks to the mindfulness & skills I had been taught during our sessions. I cannot recommend Sarah & Mama In Mind more highly! (Plus the baby loved the sessions too.)" Ally (& Henry), Bromley

“Everything is great at the moment. I thought the session went extremely well and I feel so much better, my anger issues seem to [be] well under control” Andrew, Dartford (Stress)

"The first session involved a discussion with Sarah about my previous birth. She immediately put me at ease and made me feel confident about the whole process. The sessions covered lots of techniques that have actually been useful in lots of post-birth situations too. After the birth of my first child, I was left feeling that I would have no control over the birth of my second. The sessions were absolutely brilliant and changed my preconceptions. During my second birth I was able to work with my body and actually felt empowered by the whole experience. It has been a very worthwhile experience. I highly recommend!" Katrina, Sidcup (Birth trauma)

Training, qualifications & experience

I first discovered hypnotherapy when it helped me kick a 30-a-day smoking habit many years ago. After several failed attempts to stop, I had resigned myself to being a smoker for life, but after one session of hypnotherapy I never touched a cigarette again. It was this life-changing experience that inspired me to train as a hypnotherapist myself. I worked for many years at the Stop Smoking Clinic in Bromley before going independent.
