About me

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a natural state of trance similar to that achieved in meditation and which can be induced by concentration on a single idea or focus. In a therapeutic setting, hypnosis provides a very powerful tool to access subconscious patterns of thought and behaviour and resolve issues that lie beyond the capabilities of conscious resolve.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy utilises the clinically-proven techniques of CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, NLP and other approaches and combines them with the state of trance to help people make significant positive changes within a relatively short period of time. Resolving unwelcome habits and thought patterns at a subconscious level means that hypnosis literally helps the parts other approaches can’t reach!

The approach focuses on the present and the future and not the past. Treatment is tailored to each client and a programme of therapy is designed according to your preferences, your personality and your needs.

All interventions have a profound affect on the way our problems are both viewed and dealt with. A major re-evaluation takes place. They are also second to none as a route to greater self- knowledge enabling us to become the person we were always meant to be.
