Is ‘Time for change therapy’ for you?
I am a registered and fully insured clinical hypnotherapist with the General Hypnotherapy Register and General Hypnotherapy Standards Council practising in Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding areas.
I provide Clinical Hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). These are all underpinned by advanced counselling skills experience and training.
People come to me for all sorts of reasons; most recently I have worked with clients over: anger, anxiety, confidence, erectile dysfunction, goal-setting, insomnia, motivation, panic attacks, phobias, self-esteem, stopping smoking, tinnitus and weight loss.
These are only some of the issues that can be helped. Just as importantly, these issues may be symptoms of an underlying challenge for an individual in his or her life.
I use an integrated approach to draw on my hypnotherapy and counselling experience and my Reiki training to listen to my clients, empathise with them and try to understand their issues. I work alongside them to help them make the changes they desire. Everyone is individual and unique and the therapy I provide reflects this.
Everyone matters and everyone has the ability to change.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy which is underpinned by 3 years training as a counsellor and psychotherapist in Transactional Analysis. My approach also benefits from 90 hours counselling skills training. I am also a Reiki Practitioner (3rd degree/Reiki Master) and have been working at Tonbridge Reiki for 3 years.
I have also completed a course in creative arts interventions in psychotherapy.
My training has included a year placement with Place2Be, a children's counselling charity, and I have an Enhanced Criminal Record Certificate.

These are some of the things clients have said about me:
“Sally has this amazing way of articulating my thoughts, she unravels and rephrases my own thoughts … she summarises in a way that makes them crystal clear … it is like a fog lifting.” JD, Tunbridge Wells
“Having suffered from a severe anxious reaction to spiders for 40 years I wasn’t sure whether hypnotherapy would be able to change how I behaved … I was clear with Sally I would never want to touch a spider, and that still stands, but I would ‘happily’ remove one now. People who know me well are astonished.’ IS, Tonbridge
"It was very comforting to have you approach things in a personable way, and the session really helped me to find that…it was just nice to speak to someone as a person and you really helped me get a small sense of my real self for the first time. Anon, Tunbridge Wells
The most helpful part was the nonjudgement I received about how the situation started and this allowed me to finally stop beating myself up over it and to forgive myself so I could move on and focus on getting better instead of focusing on how it started."
AE, Kings Hill
