I help people to change their experience of life and the results they are getting and in particular:
- manage stress and anxiety,
- rid yourself of phobias and fears,
- recreate your life / work balance
- get clarity on specific challenges
- create and start building a positive future
- manage weight over the long term
- become more mindful and focused
I first trained back in 1990 and have recently updated my training with both Clinical Hypnotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy courses taught by the Anglo European College of Therapeutic Hypnosis - an institution known for the rigorous evidence base foundation.
Approach to hypnotherapy
Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy. There is research that shows a combination of cognitive approaches with hypnosis works better than either approach on its own.
I work in a very particular way that emphasises client involvement. You will be engaged in the process and learn and practice hypnotic skills in between sessions.
Free initial conversation
You can begin by making an appointment for a FREE initial conversation to see how I can help you and actually experience what working together would be like. We will examine your goals and begin making a pathway towards achieving your aims.
What to expect
Early on in the process you will learn self hypnosis and be able to practice what we do in the sessions at home. Hypnosis is a skill and the more you practice, the better results you will achieve.
Hypnosis is not about being asleep, unconscious, or someone else 'zapping' you with some kind of mystic force. Hypnosis is a skill set that I will help you to learn in order to make positive and progressive changes in your life.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with
I have a particular interest in resiliency and developing resilient living skills in regard to work related stress. My website for this is www.livingresilience.com.
Sessions are £50 each for hypnotherapy. I generally work in blocks of three to five sessions.
I also offer Lifecoaching for longer term projects over three months and six months and you can apply for a free Clarity Insights session to explore what you want to create, what challenges you are facing and how to put a plan for achieving your aims together.
This is very much an exciting session that takes you into the world of what is possible for you, and explores the practical implications of the relationship between state of mind and achievement/ performance, and what you can do to optimise your situation.
Appointments can be made for weekdays between 9.00 and 5.00 subject to availability.
