About me

Rachel is a registered Clinical Hypnotherapist & qualified EFT practitioner.

Rachel's warm personality and person centred approach has given her the opportunity to work and help people from all walks of life ranging from one to one appointments, professional establishments, working in schools, wedding fayres and more.

Rachel open mind allows her to support people in many aspects of their lives and will tell you how hypnotherapy and EFT has improved and enhanced her life for the better.

Firstly I would like to thank you Rachel. Your help & support was invaluable at a time in my life that I really needed a knock on the head. As a healthcare professional I found myself at a point in my career where I no longer felt any compassion for others or myself. I felt lost and aimless as for me compassion had always been my greatest tool in healthcare.

The therapy helped me overcome many limiting beliefs and gave me tools to support me both personally and professionally. This has magnified my ability to care for others both professionally and personally. To anyone unsure I would say take the leap you have nothing to loose yet so much to potentially gain.
Thank you once again Rachel

I contacted Rachel for pain relief. For the first time in a long time I felt more positive and pain free. Rachel is the most loving, caring, happy, sympathetic and helpful lady I've met. She genuinely cares about you and will help. Hypnotherapy is very calming and relaxing, it makes me feel in control again. I cant recommend Rachel highly enough. She is very good at her job and you will be glad you tried hypnotherapy. Thank you Rachel. You've given me a better future.

I was not sure what I would gain at first when working with you. I have been sceptical in the past of things like this, but as my life is a whirlwind of anxiety, insomnia and bad driving I was willing to give it a go. I guess I was hoping that after years of being the sort of person who is always on edge, that someone at long last might be able to provide the miracle 'cure'

Afterwards I felt very very relaxed and surprisingly, a very confident driver, just took in all in my stride, like I had being doing it my whole life.

The most significant improvement I think is that I do not stress or worry over things that I cannot change, I am more relaxed about things and am not to selfish. I am also planning to drive to York next week but not with my husband!!! Baby steps but I will get to Leeds one day and I am confident that I can do it, there are no negative thoughts any more.

I would definitely recommend a client to go to you. I would tell them what a warm, caring, relaxed and very professional person you are. Also not forgetting to say that you are also very welcoming and very likable.

All I can add is that I am very glad that I 'won' this prize, it has been a life changer, seriously. If I have any negative thoughts come into my head now, I push it aside and try to look at the good things.

I began working with Rachel in a bid to manage pain, Rachel's approach is very positive. She is a great advocate for positive thinking and taking control over things in life. I highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking to deal with physical pain or limitations and also anyone who is looking to make positive proactive changes. She has many approaches to different issues and I am very grateful for all her help and advice.

Having suffered with anxiety for nearly 20 years Rachel was recommended to me by another therapist In just a few sessions with Rachel I found myself being more confident, happier and refreshed with a new outlook on life. I would highly recommend Rachel.

My regression was excellent and have recommended this to my friends. I hope to do it again in the future. If I was asked about Regression I would definitely say "Do it" I'm so glad I did. Thank you.

Further information

Hypnosis spans across the ages and has been utilized by mankind for centuries. Its a part of our everyday lives, a naturally occurring state of mind that we regularly drift in and out of throughout each and every day of our lives.

An example would be day dreaming or perhaps when you’re engrossed in a good book or film and lose all track of time. You are aware of everything around you, you are simply relaxed, peaceful and content.

In hypnosis you’re in control at all times. You are aware of sounds, smells, surroundings. You’re aware of where you are and can adjust your position at any time. You can converse, hear what is said. You’re simply absorbed in a comfortable level of relaxation which is right for you.

Rachel positive approach combines hypnotherapy, EFT and other mindful skills and techniques and aims to bring about positive changes and raise awareness around self-help.

EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique. It is an emotional version of acupuncture, except needles are not used. Instead you stimulate certain meridian points on the body by tapping on them with fingertips.

EFT stems back over 5000 years and is used to optimism well-being and emotional health.
