How can I help? Talk to me and if what I say doesn't make sense don't work with me.
What do I believe? That only when you truly wish to change will you be able to. Quite often we put up barriers to living happy balanced lives. Sadly we are not aware that we have even done this. That is why Hypnotherapy is so powerful. We can bring those barriers down and you can get on with living the life that you want.
Belief really is the answer. What we believe shapes not only our internal world but also shapes the environment we live in. If you believe that you only get any where in life if you work hard - then unsurprisingly you will have a life of hard work. If you believe that maintaining your weight is a continual battle - then it will be; if you believe that you have always been afraid of flying and nothing can change that, then that will be the case until you change that belief.
It is the hidden beliefs that cause the biggest problems and yet they can be the easiest to resolve.
I specialise in weight management, anxieties, addictions and phobias. However, I also have a proven track record with resolving a wide and diverse range of issues.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with
Hypnotherapy for children and young people. Not only are our methods useful with adults, but children can benefit greatly, and there are limitless applications. This is due, in part, to the fact that children are outstanding hypnotic subjects. They are wonderfully imaginative and have a great ability to pretend. When we work with children, we do not use the terms “hypnosis” or “trance.” Instead we call it “imaginative medicine,” and they are asked to simply “pretend.” The myriad applications for hypnosis for young people, include enuresis (bedwetting), thumb sucking, nail biting, hair pulling, low self-esteem, anxiety, pain control, bleeding control for hemophiliacs, nausea, ease of A & E procedures, preoperative comfort, induction of anesthesia, postoperative comfort, and grief and mourning.
Self-Hypnosis training. Just 10 minutes of self-hypnosis can reduce your stress hormone levels significantly, leading you to a happier more productive life. What could be easier?
Past Life Regression and Metaphysical Hypnosis whether you are a believer in reincarnation or accept that ancestral memories are encoded in DNA, regressing to a former life can be an amazing and truly inspiring experience. For some people solutions or answers to their problems lie in the actions or former incarnations; and it is here that their therapy begins. The aim of a Metaphysical session is to guide the seeker to find understanding on a higher plane; to find the divinity within all things and explore higher levels of self awareness, truth and understanding.
Corporate Consultation Communicating the strengths or your business are are not as important as understanding the strengths or your internal communications. We not only communicate on a number physical levels, but we also 'tell' our customers, clients, and consumers much more by what we fail to communicate. With NLP we take a systematic, analytical approach to 'modelling' your communications we aim to discover excellence and and show you how to reproduce that across your entire organisation.
Mind Coach Understanding your own goals is not as easy as planning them and making them a reality. But that need not be the case. with clear and precise guidance you can unleash your true potential. If you have ever felt that you are holding yourself back then the reality is that you are! learn how to change this pattern permanently.
Mindfulness and Meditation I run a weekly mindfulness clinic where we explore actual practises and techniques that make significant and profound improvements on normal life.

*** What is the value of your happiness *** If its free there has to be a catch. How much do you spend on alcohol each month, or on clothes or hair care, eating out, take outs.... before considering the cost of treatment, take a look at what you are spending money on and then ask yourself " what value do I really, truly, place on my own health and wellbeing?"
Cost per session
£95 for the first session (normally 2 hours) and then £70 per hr thereafter.
HYPNObirthing and HYPNOgastric band programmes are typically £340 and can be discussed on the phone prior to any consultation. Single session success
Many issues can be resolved very quickly - that means in a single session. I integrate Hypnotherapy and NLP techniques that are proven to provide rapid and lasting change.
I accept most types of payment including cash, mastercard and visa. I even take payments via text from a smart phone.
Why does hypnosis work? Because it is a function of the subconscious mind! The subconscious mind controls and regulates all of the automatic functions of the body; breathing, cardiovascular activity, temperature, cell replenishment and self-healing (to name but a few) and it does so without the knowledge of the conscious mind (that's the important bit). Communicating with the subconscious is a skill we all have to some degree. However, when we are out of sync with our body it becomes increasingly difficult to hear or feel the messages it is giving us. Hypnotherapy helps you to rebalance yourself and your life by directly addressing the subconscious mind and suggesting the new behaviour that you want.
Why do we develop these problems? One of the primary functions of the subconscious is Protection. It protects by repressing memories and developing responses (or reactions) to the things around us, for instance a boost of adrenalin in response to a fright or a scare of some sort. It is this protection mechanism that can lead to the development of unhelpful habits like OCD, a phobia of flying or spiders, general or specific anxiety and panic, depression and pessimistic (or just plain unhappy) behaviour. Whatever the issue, it is horrible to suffer from any problem that stops us leading a completely comfortable existence! This is why Hypnosis is so powerful in helping with these problems.
It all boils down to pain! I treat all symptoms as either emotional or physical pain. Because your experiences are often an expression of physical or emotional of pain. Physical pain is easily recognisable because there is a restriction in movement, tenderness or swelling in the affected area. Emotional pain is less easy to determine and that is why we show our distress in imaginative ways.. (the unconscious has very creative ways of letting itself be known). But emotional stiffness, hypersensitivity, and disproportionate emotional outbursts are good indicators of emotional pain.
There is no solution on the NHS
And the truth is that the NHS neither has the money or the will to deal with issues that are not considered significant!! Mental well-being is not generally considered to be a priority because it is far more difficult to treat. Therefore the primary aim of my therapy is to find a course of treatment that fits your needs and provide immediate relief from the problem (the pain, if you like). Then through a systematic and analytical approach (advanced hypnotherapy and regression techniques, if necessary) I encourage you to find solutions and resolve the problem with your own amazing abilities. I then help you build new behaviour and habits. And I do this by working at both the conscious and subconscious levels, identifying all the processes involved or at work in the problem. Ultimately we all have the skills and resources to effect our own positive change; I feel my skill is in helping you understand this through my unique intuitive grasp of hypnotic talents and skills.
I was medically retired from the Royal Air Force due to some significant problems with pain and mobility. This was a difficult and challenging time. I was diagnosed with persistent pain related to degenerative disc disease, Poly-Arthritis, Osteo-Arthritis and digestive track problems. I have what you could call a typical history of long-term and chronic pain and therefore understand how significant pain treatment is. The pathology of pain is now well documented. Sufferer's can expect sadness and unhappiness to be replaced by depressive illness if their pain goes untreated. Depression and depressive disorders are common and with each bout of depression the chance of the condition worsening increases significantly. Being this upset really does make life very difficult.
After stumbling upon a technique for super fast self-hypnosis I was able to reduce my daily pain by about 70% within 5 days. After that I guess I had 'a Remington moment'. I was so affected by my response to self-hypnosis that I dedicated the next year to becoming a professional Hypnotherapist, utilising HYPNO birthing with my ever-so-sceptic wife Jennifer, who subsequently had 13 hours of pain free labour . From that success I helped friends and family, notably my mother and my eldest son and ultimately qualified as an NLP Coach and then an Analytical Hypnotherapist. In 2014 I qualified in Diet and Nutrition, in 2015 I completed my Degree in Metaphysical Science and I am currently working on my Masters and Ph.D.
I am married to Jennifer and we have two beautiful daughters, Evie and Alba. I also have another 5 amazing children: Stacie-Marie, Kyle, Jack, Charlie and Samuel. I love to read, draw, paint, ride my motorcycle and entertain. I have even been known to do a bit of magic and read minds.
Available weekdays by appointment.
