Profile
Hi I’m Pam, for many years I struggled with low confidence and poor self esteem. After my children were born I also struggled with a chronic health condition- Endometriosis and experienced regular episodes of severe pain and fatigue. In order to cope I started researching complementary health and self- development programs which led me into becoming a tutor for The Expert Patient Programme (Self- Management of Chronic Disease). These gave me the courage and confidence to attain my BSc (Hons) in Psychology with The Open University. Half way through my degree my husband was diagnosed with cancer and subsequently died. Continuing with my degree was a life line as I coped with the grief. Completing my Degree was one of the proudest moments of my life and I went on to train as a Counsellor and worked for 5 years as a Staff Counsellor with the NHS. I have also trained as a Holistic Hypnotherapist and have also completed numerous other courses including Mindfulness and introduction to cognitive behavioural therapy. To enhance my coaching skills I am currently studying with the Accelerated Awakening Academy in order to qualify as a heart centred coach and facilitator.
I am Heart centred in my approach (I am authentic and real with the ability to connect to my own feelings, body and energy and I intuitively connect to my clients).I integrate this with a holistic approach.
I offer a free consultation which gives you the opportunity to discuss briefly your issues and for me to suggest how I can best help you. This also allows both us to determine whether we can form a working relationship, as a major part of any therapy is the relationship between the therapist and the client.
My main areas of interest are:-
Helping people come to terms with long term health conditions,
Cancer,
Womens health,
Bereavement
Confidence and self esteem
Stress and anxiety
Helping women to enjoy their pregnancy and delivery of their child.
I also offer a weight management/healthy eating program that combines hypnotherapy and coaching to make people feel better about themselves and have a healthy relationship with food.
