Daws Heath Road
I have been a practicing analytical hypnotherapist in the Essex area since I qualified in 2001 and can honestly say that my work is still my passion as well as my profession - not my hobby! I am proud of my reputation as a caring hypnotherapist who is easy to talk to, with a wealth of experience in most of the problems people come to me for help with.
I have personally experienced many of the problems my clients have like anxiety, panic attack and IBS (to name a few), and I think my life experience as well as my professional experience helps me to better understand many of my clients' problems, enabling me to help them more effectively.
Many of my clients come from the personal recommendations of ex-clients, but if you aren't fortunate enough to know someone who has been successfully treated with hypnotherapy, you might find it harder to choose the right hypnotherapist for you. Because you want to make the right choice of hypnotherapist for you I offer a free consultation of up to an hour, which gives us plenty of time to have a chat and discuss your problems. I will take the time to explain how hypnotherapy works, what your personal treatment plan would be and what we can hope to achieve and whether or not I think I can help you (if I think I can't help I will do my best to refer you on to someone I think will be able to help you). After the free consultation I am happy for you to go away and discuss your decision with your friends or family, or just have a think about it and then get back to me if you decide you want to go ahead.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained with the highly respected Essex Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy in 2001, gaining my DHP (with Honours) at the end of my training.
Since then I have attended many specialist trainings in areas as diverse as IBS, Psychoneuroimmunology, Depression, Medical Hypnosis, Stress Relief and Pain Management to name just a few.
Some of the most common problems people consult me for are to get help with stress & anxiety, to control panic attacks and help with fears & phobias, lack of confidence & self esteem, weight control (including Hypno-Band) and help to stop smoking – it’s worth getting in touch if your problem isn’t mentioned here to see if I can help you too, as I have spent many thousands of hours helping countless people who wanted to take back control of their lives and relieve the symptoms of many different problems, too numerous to list.

I have been consulted on and treated a very large range of problems since I have been in practice, some of them unusual and perhaps things which you might not think hypnotherapy can help, so if you have a problem which isn't listed on this page please do get in touch to see if I can help - if I can't I may know somebody who can!
I offer a free consultation of up to an hour, which gives us plenty of time to have a chat and discuss your problems. I will take the time to explain how hypnotherapy works, what your personal treatment plan would be and what we can hope to achieve and most importantly whether or not I think I can help you (if I think I can't help I will do my best to refer you on to someone I think will be able to help you). After the free consultation I am happy for you to go away and discuss your decision with your friends or family, or just have a think about it and then get back to me if you decide you want to go ahead.
I offer evening and weekend appointments as well as through the week during the daytime.
