You are here because you or someone you know needs support and help, You're now in the right place to receive help.
Hypnotherapy available in Cambridge CB4 and near St Ives, Cambs.
My well established Hypnotherapy practice helps clients with different issues such as addiction, low self confidence, depression, anger, sleep problems and anxiety.
I have 12 years experience of working in therapy and I offer flexible weekday, evening and weekend appointments. I see clients for assessment within a few days.
I changed career from banking in 2002 as I had suffered a major bereavement and decided to have a career where I could really help people.
I've had a lot of life experiences such as childhood issues, depression, divorce and having children and I know first hand how challenging and hard life can be.
How can I help?
I specialise in depression, anger management, stop smoking, anxiety, low self confidence/esteem, relationship issues and general feelings of sadness. This list is by no means exhaustive and often clients seek help for a variety of issues.
I offer a confidential, professional service underpinned by a sound knowledge of therapy, a very friendly approach and enthusiasm to help you resolve your issue.
Please feel free to contact me either by phone or email, where I will be more than happy to discuss your individual needs.
My training is very comprehensive and I use suggestion hypnotherapy to help the client and the issue. I don't believe 'one size fits all' and I prefer to help my clients holistically. That means for me, to tailor my approach to your needs. We would discuss that together at the initial assessment session.
What you can expect from your sessions
We meet at my practice in Cambridge or near St Ives, Cambs. The first appointment is an assessment which lasts between an hour and an hour and a half. It gives me time to build up a good picture of what you are experiencing, and also gives you a chance to meet me, ask me questions and explore what is going on in your life. We then discuss how many sessions you might need and how often you would need to see me- for example weekly or fortnightly, I also introduce you to Hypnotherapy and part of the assessment includes a treatment. All subsequent sessions for individuals last fifty minutes.
We establish the goals of your therapy and work towards them, so at the end of your therapy you have accomplished what you had hoped for.
All enquiries are very welcome. I normally see new clients within a couple of days for an assessment, and then, at that initial appointment, we discuss a mutually convenient appointment.

'Thanks Marie. It's really important for life in general that there are people in this world like you, who care for people and who are passionate about what they do. It really made a difference to me. the time we spent together gave me the perspective to understand myself better, and come to terms with my personal issues. Life is good again'
'I can now understand why I used to think and behave the way I did. My past had such an affect on me. But you unravelled all of it and put me back together again. You're a very special person and I wish you every success in your therapy career'.
'I can't believe our sessions have come to an end. You've been able to help where other therapists haven't. I wish I had had sessions with you years ago. Intuitive, caring, and gets right to the core. Thank you, thankyou, thankyou'.
'In such a short amount of time, I feel like my old self is back again. I was so miserable. You bought humour into the sessions and I always felt lighter when I left. I cant recommend you highly enough'
Thank you so much Marie for all of your help and support. You've changed my life around and I can't thank you enough. I'll never forget you'
'where to begin, I can only say that after approximately 18 years of struggling to get a decent night's sleep, due to mainly ill health issues and shift work. I was so desperate for sleep it was becoming all consuming and taking over my days obsessing over how much sleep I would be getting each night, baking cakes in the early hours, reading, wandering about, I was in a vicious circle and could not see a way out of this horrendous situation. Getting a maximum of up to only four hours sleep a night and even that wasn't all together. Having tried numerous relaxation tapes, exercise, remedies, medication to name a few I truly was at the end of my tether. I looked 'on-line' and found Marie, who in five sessions has honestly transformed my life, in fact, I have my life back... I'm sleeping better than I have in years.. up to 6 whole hours sometimes... AMAZING!! I have every faith this is just the beginning and with the hypnosis and positivity that Marie has given me in such a short time it's the best Christmas present I could possibly have. Marie thank-you just doesn't seem enough... November 2013. JK St.Neots
