I am a cognitive hypnotherapist and supervisor based in Dunbar. As well as being a therapist I also work as a supervisor of other therapists, as I strongly believe in continuing professional development and ethics when treating clients.
My background means that I am able to tailor the therapy to suit the client, because over 90% of our behaviour is driven by our unconscious mind. Please feel free to call me for an initial conversation to discuss how I may be able to help you. I have experienced panic attacks, anxiety and depression and realise the impact these can have on your day to day life.
I initially trained in Cognitive Hypnotherapy at the Quest Institute, and have also received training in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), NLP, Eye Integration Movement Plus and other therapies which all form part of cognitive hypnotherapy.
This short video explains cognitive hypnotherapy
Some of the issues that clients have come to see me about include, stress, anxiety, depression, confidence, phobias, addictions, relationships, life coaching and many other issues.
I do hope you find the answers you are looking for and recommend that you confirm the qualifications and training of any therapist you decide to see and do please remember that nothing has to be the way it has always been.
