About me
I was, as my family and friends will tell you, a sceptic, but having had my own life changed by hypnotherapy as I recovered from a period of depression, I believe in its power to change yours too. I also believe that my own experiences help me to better understand the problems of others.
I believe that no two people are the same, and no two problems have the same root causes or solutions, so I work in an integrated way with my clients using a range of different methods to work on an individual solution which tackles the symptoms, but also works on the root causes. Therefore therapy is adjusted to the changing needs of the client as the process goes on, while we work together towards a specific outcome.
This holistic approach ensures that together we find our way through whatever we are working on in a safe, comfortable and confidential manner.

Member organisations
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
