Katherine M Harris at Glamorgan Hypnotherapy
Curative Hypnotherapy works on the basis that if the subconscious part of the mind has created any given symptom, issue or condition, it is the subconscious part of the mind that can un-create it - with a little professional assistance! This involves the combined use of simple and specialised techniques that seek to firstly establish and then treat the root cause of an issue - rather than to mask or manage it.
My philosophy is simple - if there is something which is getting in the way of us living a meaningful, purposeful life, whether that be some physical, mental, emotional or some behavioural, habitual or situational issue, symptom or condition, then why not do something about it? Life is just too short and precious to settle for anything less!

The first 25 years or so of my professional life was spent in education and youth work. Alongside this I maintained my lifelong interest and passion for combining creativity and logic to problem-solve and to promote personal change and growth.
I graduated as a Curative Hypnotherapist in 2010 and now offer this modality to a growing number of people from all over South, West and Mid Wales - and beyond the Wales/England border also. I continue to develop my skills and expertise by taking part in an in-depth, on-going programme of CPD (continuing professional development). I also play an active role in various training events which take place throughout the year.
I have benefitted from Curative Hypnotherapy myself - I have received treatment for extreme food sensitivities and a number of other related issues.
I have had a number of related articles published and continue to write about how this versatile and unique modality can help all kinds of people, in so many ways.
NB: For your peace of mind, I am fully licensed, a registered practitioner with the GHR (General Hypnotherapy Register), and an accredited practitioner with the GHSC (General Hypnotherapy Standards Council).
