About me

I use hypnotherapy in a comprehensive and in-depth way to create long lasting change. Many of our ways of behaving, thinking and feeling have their origins in childhood and we continue to live our lives repeating the same patterns, because they have been learned at a young age and feel familiar.

Through in-depth hypno-psychotherapy we can access the roots of these patterns very quickly and offer understanding as well as healing. Hypnotherapy can then begin to create new understandings and patterns of thinking and behaving.

Hypno-psychotherapy works quickly, but on a much deeper level than just offering hypnotic suggestions. It can help to eliminate fears and phobia's and deal with outdated habits. It is also particularly effective to deal with anxiety and establish greater confidence and security within yourself. I am an integrative therapist and use approaches from different psychotherapeutic models, including cognitive-behavioural techniques.

I also teach self-hypnosis to enable you to continue your personal development, help you to expand the power of your mind and enjoy a secure and expressive life.

Where I practise

My practice is based in Central London within a short walking distance of London Waterloo or Lambeth North tube stations and on bus routes 3/59/159 and 360, there is also paid parking available. I also practise at a GP surgery in St George Wharf next to Vauxhall Station. There is underground parking available and a lift for easy access.

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

I have a special interest in working with fertility. I trained and am registered with EasibirthingR.

Fertility

Starting a family is one of the biggest decisions that most people make and if it takes time to conceive or if there are complications, it can take over your life and leave you feeling angry, depressed, hostile and isolated. The process of trying to conceive either naturally or using IVF can cause insurmountable stress and leave you feeling powerless and out of control.

The balance of mind and body is delicate and our emotions can influence our complicated hormonal system, which regulates ovulation, sperm production and pregnancy.

Studies have shown that stress is a major factor contributing to infertility. Prolonged periods of stress and anxiety activate the ‘fight or flight’ system, which in turn shuts down other systems in the body, including the reproductive one.

Hypno-psychotherapy can help you to stay calm, reduce stress and give you back a sense of control over your own life by restoring confidence in yourself and your body. Hypnosis can help to explore and resolve unconscious blocks that may be affecting your ability to conceive. It can also assist you to maintain a healthy life-style and create a sense of balance between the mind and the body in order to help you to maximize your chances of conception and enjoy a healthy pregnancy.
