The type of hypnotherapy I practice is cognitive behavioural. This involves looking at your thoughts and behaviour patterns and how they might be linked with the issues you are experiencing. In most cases I also integrate mindfulness and progressive relaxation techniques which have proven very effective.
A particular focus of my work is on managing stress and building resilience, anxiety, creative unblocking, relationship difficulties and overcoming unhelpful habits (including smoking). But I am happy to discuss any other issues you would like help with.
Breaking destructive cycles and establishing new coping strategies will get you to achieve greater freedom and to live life in-line with your core values.
What to expect from our sessions
The first session includes a thorough assessment to identify the root of your problem. The results will enable me to set out a tailored treatment plan which we'll then put into action together.
I aim to respond to all enquiries within a few hours.
I work mainly in my private practice in London, N1 where you can expect a comforting, confidential and tranquil environment.
A bit more about me
Originally from Berlin I've been living in London since 1999. Before becoming a hypnotherapist I had a career in digital media and video production. This gave me first-hand experience of pressures in a commercial workplace. So I can relate well to a lot of the stress-related issues my clients are facing.
I am also an Associate Lecturer at Central Saint Martins for nearly a decade: teaching on the MA programme “Applied Imagination”, meeting and mentoring mature students from all over the world.
Mentoring and coaching has always been a great pleasure to me. I deeply enjoy seeing people overcome difficulties, achieve their goals and develop to their full potential. This and my own personal use of hypnosis and self-hypnosis for the past 20 years has led me to take the plunge a few years back and to qualify through the UK College of Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy where I gained a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (Dip CBH) which is accredited and recognised by the main professional bodies in the field: NCH, GHR, REBHP, NCFE, CNHC and approved by the British Psychological Society.
I also hold a Diploma in Stress Management and Resilience-Building.
I try to stay up-to-date with developments in my field by taking part in symposia and specialist training workshops, e.g. recently one on Addictions, one on Smoking Cessation and one on Enhancing Neuroplasticity.
I am registered with the GHR (General Hypnotherapy Register) and adhere to their strict Code of Ethics.
During earlier studies for my previous career I have gained an MA in Communications and an MA in "Applied Imagination" which are both of some value to my current practice as well.

My fees are:
£90 per session; or
£240 for a package of 3 sessions; or
£420 for a package of 6 sessions.
Each session lasts 60 mins.
Smoking Cessation: £240 for 1 x 2.5 hrs session
