Often hypnosis is perceived as someone who has no control over their actions. This perception has been popularised by films and TV shows for entertainment. Please be re-assured this is not the case with clinical hypnotherapy. Hypnosis is a natural state we all experience everyday, similar to a day dream or a driving hypnosis where you reach your destination and can't remember driving the route. The experience of hypnosis is a pleasant relaxed sensation and when in this relaxed state the sub-conscious part of the mind is more susceptible to accept helpful positive changes for your benefit.
