Patients success and satisfaction is at the foremost in my practice and I am proud to count as my clients many health practitioners like doctors, nurses, etc., and hypnotherapists themselves.

I am a fully qualified practitioner ready to help you achieve that desired change.  I am approved by the NHS and have registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register and with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).

I work in the advanced areas of Pain Management, Advanced Analytical Hypnotherapy, Medical Hypnotherapy and Hypnosis for Therapeutic Transformation.

HYPNOSIS

Hypnosis is a highly effective method of gaining access to the potential of the human mind for personal development and therapeutic change. There is much clinical evidence in increasing number of research studies and in Neuroscience, that testify to its effectiveness. Modern scientific methods give clear evidence that hypnosis enables therapeutic change and can help people with a wide range of psychological, psychosomatic and behavioural problems.

Scientific studies have shown characteristic neurological changes that are achieved when hypnosis is used compared to imagination or positive thinking. Hypnotherapy has applications in all areas where mind and body interact – stress management, relief from chronic pain, hypnosurgery (using hypnosis), skin conditions like psoriasis, vitiligo, and many more.

What happens in the initial session?
I take the client's case history and we discuss about what your aim is. I then can form a diagnosis and a treatment plan.
In the second part, I explain how hypnotherapy works and we have the induction.
At the end of the session, the client feels so relaxed and content, they sometimes want to stay longer as the experience is quite pleasant. Rate success I obtain with clients is 99%

CNHC
Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.

In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.

A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.

GHR
The General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR)

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Trichotillomania Disorder that involves recurrent, irresistible urges to pull out hair from your scalp, eyebrows or other areas of your body, despite trying to stop.

Dermatillomania Condition where a person feels compelled to pick at their skin, to the point where it causes visible wounds.

Emetophobia Intense phobia that causes overwhelming, intense anxiety pertaining to vomiting. This specific phobia can also include subcategories of what causes the anxiety, including a fear of vomiting in public, a fear of seeing vomit, a fear of watching the action of vomiting or fear of being nauseated.

Cancer treatment There is evidence that hypnotherapy helps with these symptoms. It can also help with depression, anxiety and stress. Patients may use this alongside conventional treatments such as chemotherapy or radiotherapy.

Parkinsons treatment ato reduce tremors, anxiety, depression, sleep quality, pain, stiffness, and to improve quality of life. See https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23427841
