What is the outcome you are looking for?
Hypnotherapy can help to overcome anxiety and depression together with many phobia's and habits, for example smoking. You don't have to be a certain type of personality for hypnotherapy to work. You just have to want to address those issues that you would like to change.

My name is Helen, I have suffered from low moods and stress in the past and like you now maybe, was looking for some help.
I did not understand why I was feeling the way I did and could not pull myself together which I personally found very frustrating. This then affected my sleep, I wanted to isolate myself and felt emotionally very low.
Not anymore! Looking back now, I consider myself brave to have looked for a solution. Hypnotherapy was right for me and got me through. Having an understanding what was happening and why, empowered me and made me stronger.
We are all individuals and therefore it is understandable that we all suffer with different issues in different ways. Hypnotherapy can help with many of these issues as listed below. Clients tell me often how they love the relaxation bit we call trance and look forward to it every time.
Being told I am a people person, and I do love helping people, I decided to make Hypnotherapy my new path and have never looked back. Love what I do and am very happy to help you as a now fully qualified experienced Solution Focused Hypnotherapist. I am based mainly in Rhoose, just outside Cardiff however also practice from West Quay Medical Centre Barry, both in walking distance of a train station.
I work with adults and children and hold an enhanced DBS certificate
Training, qualifications & experience
- I am fully insured and qualified from the renowned Clifton Practice in Bristol.
I have a Hypnotherapy Practitioner's Diploma and a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy and am registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council.
I also work within the Haemotology Department and Teenage Cancer Trust at the University Hospital of Wales and Llandough Hospital helping patients cope better with anxiety, low moods anticipated nausea and phobia's (such as needles) related to their chemotherapy treatment.
I have attended many CPD courses and still do so on a regular basis in order to keep up to date and enhance my skills in order to help you and better myself.

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

- 1 Hour hypnotherapy £60 - Adults
- 45 mins hypnotherapy £50 - Children
- 2 Hours hypnotherapy £150 - Smoking Cessation.
Payment by Cash or Cheque at the time of appointment.
When I work
Monday to Thursday 10am-8pm and Saturday morning.
