Hi there. I am a clinical hypnotherapist. I am qualified in Psychotherapy and Modern Clinical Hypnosis, and have a passion for helping people. My introduction to Hypnotherapy came back in 2006 when with the help of Hypnosis I managed to quit smoking, and I’ve never looked back.
I strongly believe that whatever your symptom,or unwanted problem is; the solution is simple, because all the answers we will ever need are inside of ourselves the key to resolving anything is relaxation. I help clients first and foremost to learn to like / love themselves, once you can do that life falls into place and you can focus on living and not just existing.
Also offering home visits and free consultations.
Anxiety is a natural part of life and effects people in many ways, that’s why James Benjafield at freedom Hypnotherapy will tailor every therapy session to suit the individual. So let’s take a brief look at some of the types of anxiety.
General and social anxiety
can be a fear of people judging or criticising you, whether it’s for what you’ve done, doing the way you look, what you say or don’t say. And this can affect you no matter where you are at home, work or anywhere out of your comfort zone. The fear of being in a uncomfortable situation can often be worse than actually being in the situation that you fear.
Having anxiety can be existing, you endlessly run through different scenarios in your head-situations that might happen-what people might say, and what you will say back. But not just one scenario or conversation, dozens of them. This is known as self-talk. this is your mind trying to de stress you, but unfortunately ,due to faulty programing it can cause us all sorts of unwanted problems, I.B.S ,racing mind , sleep issues.
If you are not having one you are living in fear of the next one.
It can feel like someone has put a sack over your head and you can’t breathe because a cord is choking your neck leaving you exhausted.
There are usually two types of panic attacks, psychological trigger or physical trigger.
It is important to remember that although uncomfortable they are not dangerous. They are a part of the body’s natural defence system.
Now here’s the good news
James at freedom Hypnotherapy not only has years of experience helping people but had once suffered with anxiety first hand and is now totally free himself all with the help of Hypnosis, so I know how you feel and with all the knowledge I have gained I can help you be free too.

What does it feel like?
Hypnosis is a very relaxed state of being, not disimilar to daydreaming, and is an altered state of awareness that we all experience naturally.
You will be fully aware of everything going on around you, and although your senses will be hightened, you remain in complete control and can not be made to do something against your will. You can reject any direction put forward.
How does it work?
Hypnosis works by changing neuro pathways in the brain, obliterating negative thought patterns and changing limiting beliefs. It is completely safe with no side effects. The positive effects of Hypnotherapy can be both instant and permanent. Hypnotherapy can help almost anyone releasing their inner potnetial and promoting self healing.
Hypnotherapy can work for you.
