Training, qualifications & experience

About Me
After 12 years in the pharmaceutical industry, as a competent saleswoman and as a UK Training Manager, I was able to observe how the power of the mind could be a hindrance to success or the motivating factor to achieve goals, and how thoughts and behaviours can bring benefits to problems that people are suffering from, so I decided to channel my passion and pursue my career to become a Hypno-psychotherapist. I obtained my Diploma in Hypno-psychotherapy with the prestigious NCHP and I am a full member of The National Society of Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy.

I am also registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) which the Department of Health recommend you only consult with a therapist who is registered with the CNHC.

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Information about health conditions (*)

Hypnotherapy can enhance the well-being of individuals diagnosed with serious medical conditions, but should not take the place of medical treatment and advice. If you have been diagnosed with - or suspect you may have - any of these conditions, please speak to your doctor before starting hypnotherapy.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Panic Attacks

Panic attacks can often stem from many underlying issues, from phobias e.g. animals, small spaces, crowded areas to generalised anxiety e.g. extreme worrying over everyday events. Sometimes panic attacks appear from no-where and without an obvious cause. In both cases hypno-psychotherapy can help manage panic attacks so you can feel in control and not to fear the onset of another one (hypnotherapy); it can also can help to address the underlying issues which triggered the panic attacks in the first place (psychotherapy).

The Healthy Weight Coaching Programme

At Bicester Therapy, I offer a comprehensive weight loss coaching program. The program is individually tailored and addresses your relationship with food, any underlying issues and helping with motivation for breaking any unhealthy habits that may have been formed. As a therapist I help you to explore and gain awareness. I am a coach helping to set realistic goals and I am there to support and motivate change.
