About me
I am a qualified Hypnotherapist/ Psychotherapist, Counsellor and NLP practitioner specializing in all aspects of psychotherapy, hypnotherapy and Counselling. I work with clients on a wide range of issues on a one-to-one basis and I am dedicated to helping each individual achieve his or her desired goals. My main goal is to help people to recognize their full potential. I incorporate elements from different schools of psychotherapy including Humanistic, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, tailored to meet your specific needs and concerns.

Registration at Senior Practitioner status is only available to a GHSC practitioner who has met the strict criteria and who has been in continual practice for a minimum of 5 years awarding the GHSC award of Senior Qualification in Hypnotherapy Practice (SQHP)
I teach psychology at the Grimsby Institute University (ALS Centre)
I am a registered practitioner with the National Council of Psychotherapists, The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council and the Complementary and Natural Health Care Council with whom I'm a Local Champion, promoting safe practice and codes of ethics. I am also registered with Anxiety UK as an Anxiety UK approved therapist.

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.
In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.
A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).
Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.
All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Initially, I offer a consultation session to explore what brings you to hypnotherapy and how we might work together to address your needs. Following this consultation, you can decide if you wish to continue. I provide consultation for all potential clients at The Wellbeing Centre in Market Weighton, The Hull Clinic of Complementary Medicine and The Berkeley Clinic, London.
The Wellbeing Centre is ideally placed, in the centre of Market Weighton. It is also within easy reach of Beverley, Holme on Spalding Moor, Pocklington and Driffield, serving much of the rural East Riding of Yorkshire. The treatment rooms are all on the ground floor with ease of access for all and a public car park next door.
The Hull Clinic of Complementary Medicine. The practice is situated in the leafy suburbs of Hessle, just off Boothferry Road, the clinic is easily accessible from the surrounding areas in the East Riding, Hull and Goole. The practice is situated in a beautiful red-brick building and set in large gardens.
