I am a qualified and accredited Hypnotherapist based at the long established Complementary Health Care Clinic in Norwich, Norfolk. Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Certificate in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills awarded by a leading UK institute.
I am also a member of the National Hypnotherapy Society’s Accredited Register- the only hypnotherapy body to have its register recognised by the Professional Standards Authority. I attend Continuous Professional Development courses to keep my skills and knowledge up to date and help you further.

I gained a BS (Hons) degree in English Literature with Sociology back in 1996. I loved studying Literature, but it was the Sociology side of things that really piqued my interest! I found it fascinating to discover why and how people behave.Since then, I have worked mainly in training and education - helping people fulfil their potential and achieve their goals. This led to studying for an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (Ad. Dip. PsyC) so I can become more skilled and qualified at helping people help themselves.

Initial Consultation 30 minutes **FREE** when booking a 60 minute individual session (not applicable to Smoking Cessation)
At the Initial Consultation I will take a comprehensive history from you, including vital information and your presenting issue. I will tell you all about the practical information you need to know and we will discuss your own goals for attending therapy. After the initial consultation and before the course of treatment commences, you will be given a short session of hypnotherapy which will help you relax and give you an idea of what to expect over coming sessions.
Smoking Cessation One off 2 hour session £100
If you are serious about giving up the habit, hypnotherapy will help you to re-programme your mind. You will receive a two hour hypnosis session, which will then reinforce your new beliefs as a non-smoker.
Hypnotherapy Individual session 60 minutes £45
Hypnotherapy is suitable for all clients wanting to use the power of hypnosis to accelerate personal change. The advantage of hypnotherapy is that we utilise the power of both your conscious and your unconscious mind to move forward.

I was in quite a low state of anxiety when I visited Carrie for hypnotherapy. It was nice to be able to describe my feelings and fears to someone outside the family, and I felt more relaxed after the visits. I am now feeling much better and able to deal with situations as they arise. Being able to deal with anxiety is half the battle with the knowledge Carrie has given me.
My friend suggested I should try hypnotherapy. At first I was a little apprehensive as it was unknown to me, but i decided to give it a go. I chose to focus on my confidence as I had always been a shy, quiet person, and I had an important event coming up and I wanted to be able to feel more confident to socialise. I had 4 really good sessions where I came away feeling relaxed and calmed, and I went to the event with a completely different mindset and it was great. I feel more confident in myself than i have in a long time. I would highly recommend it.
I had hypnotherapy to try and lose some weight. My goal was a realistic 1lb a week. I am so glad I tried this. After four weeks I lost four pounds! It's all about how your relationship with food can be changed and the way you think.
