I am a clinical hypnotherapist specialising in solution focused hypnotherapy. In order to help you realise your potential we work in collaboration, focusing on how you want things to be in life, rather than how you don't want them to be. This means that the emphasis is on the solution, not the problem, and we work together to help you envisage your preferred future and the steps to attain it.
Hypnosis is a part of this process and I use a variety of different hypnotic techniques to help you make positive changes. During hypnosis a trance state is induced, which is a naturally occurring state. We naturally go into a trance state several times a day; say if we are engrossed in a film or a good book and we become unaware of what is going on around us. I cannot make you do anything you don't want to whilst you are in hypnosis.
I work with people with many differing issues or problems. I have successfully helped people to reduce their anxiety and/or stress levels, stop smoking, and lose weight. Clients have also benefitted from increased motivation, self confidence and self esteem. I am an Anxiety UK approved therapist and am registered with the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
