About me

I have worked as a hypnotherapist since 1996, initially working from a practice within Woking Community Hospital. ....I specialise in working with clients suffering with anxiety, nervousness and stress. I work with clients to increase confidence for greater success in work, home, health, relationships and sport. I also work with teenage children on exam success, handling interpersonal relationships, coping with bullying and stress. In addition to hypnotherapy, I am qualified in Cognitive  Behavioural Therapy and believe that the best results from hypnotherapy come from understanding the client's needs first.

A list of conditions I work with appears below.  But everyone is different and there are as many issues as there are personalities so even if your particular issue is not listed, do not hesitate to enquire.   Even if YOU feel hypnotherapy can't help but you are searching for help, call me for advice. I am happy to refer you on if I feel you would benefit from a different therapeutic approach. I offer a complimentary initial consultation to discuss your particular area of concern.

My practice is situated between Woking, Addlestone and West Byfleet and only a 15 minute walk from West Byfleet station.

My website is attached so you can read more and you can join me on Facebook by going to Anne Eastwood Hypnotherapy Studio.

CNHC
Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)

The CNHC encompasses many types of alternative therapy, including hypnotherapy.

In order to be admitted to the register a practitioner must have studied to the National Occupational Standards for that profession/discipline, or have reached the equivalent of the National Occupational Standards through other relevant training or at least three years of experience and been assessed by their peers.

A practitioner must also have professional insurance and agree to abide by the CNHC Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.

GHR
The General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR)

Hypnotherapists may become members of the General Hypnotherapy Register if they satisfy certain criteria with regard to both training and ongoing requirements as determined from time to time by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC).

Members are either registered at Practitioner status (which confirms that the GHR acknowledges their qualification to practice), or Affiliate status. Although Affiliate level registrants will have completed a sufficient number of training hours to equip them to commence seeing clients on a limited basis, the GHR does not acknowledge them to have yet been trained to full practitioner level.

All GHR Registered Practitioners are required to accept the published Code of Ethics and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure.
