Alexandra Elizabeth Gamble BA(Hons), DSFH, HPD, AfSFH(reg), CNHC(reg), MNCH(reg)
I am a Solution Focused Clinical Hypnotherapist based in the Wiltshire area. I aim to help people with a wide range of issues and problems such as anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, low confidence, weight management, performance nerves, lack of motivation and much more.
What's holding you back? Whatever it is, hypnotherapy could help. I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental therapy that encourages you to make positive changes in your life in a relatively short space of time.
"Before I met Alexandra, I felt worthless, insecure, I blamed other people’s behaviours towards me for how depressed I was feeling. The day to day duties became a struggle to achieve, and when I look back now, it all seems so insignificant. Today, I find myself supporting others, helping them too find the strength that Alexandra helped me obtain. I am stronger, happier and taking control of my life. I advise anyone who is struggling or needing a little help to accomplish something to seek Alexandra. Words can not describe how thankful I am that hypnotherapy was introduced into my life. At first I was sceptical about what it would entail and if it could really help, I’m now living proof that it works, and I am so very grateful for that."
Sessions for Depression and Anxiety
This therapy uses the very latest research into neuroscience and how the mind works as well as taking successful aspects of Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to develop a method that can have an influential impact in a relatively short space of time.

Initial Consultation (30mins approx.)
All clients receive an initial consultation. It is during this time that we can discuss why you are seeking help and how hypnotherapy could aid you in achieving your goals.
I will give an explanation of how the mind works and why we adopt certain behaviours and thoughts to deal with situations, in particular, your behaviours and thoughts to situations. What to expect in subsequent sessions will also be explained and it is here I will talk about hypnosis and allows time for you to ask any questions you may still have.
At the end of the initial consultation you will receive a relaxation CD that will aid in the time between sessions. Here we also discuss the importance of your commitment and dedication; change can happen but we need to work together and be determined to succeed.
No hypnosis is used during the initial consultation, it is purely time for us to discuss the above and to establish if hypnotherapy is the appropriate course of action for you.
Sessions (50mins approx.)
Sessions will begin by discussing how things have been going since your last session. There is a focus on what has been good and what was different about the times where things have been going well. Using solution focused questions, we will work together to get a positive and achievable goal. I will then guide you into hypnosis which will help strengthen the work that we have done and allows you time to relax.

Following Sessions £50
Payment can be made by cash or cheque at the end of each session.
