What is your Philosophy of life?

Epictetus was a Greek Stoic philosopher who once upon a time declared that suffering arises from trying to control what is uncontrollable, or from neglecting what is within our power. He also believed that events can’t be changed, however we can change our perceptions of them.
Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy is greatly inspired by the philosophy of Epictetus and some other stoic philosophers, who were promoting psychological education and personal responsibility for our perceptions.
People often look at their behaviour patterns, which they tried to change (e.g. smoke less, eat less, exercise more, and focus on positive thoughts). Often they managed to keep a short leash to their unhealthy behaviour for some time; however they have not challenged their thinking process which was the driving force to their guilty pleasure. For this reason their undesirable behaviour often returns.
Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy can help you challenge your unhealthy beliefs that create your negative self-talk as well as behaviours and realize your healthy beliefs that can help you life your life to a full potential once again.
