Are you or is someone in your family anxiously awaiting A Level results?
Everyone struggles with change from time to time in their lives. In mid-summer I’m often mindful of those teenagers who, having completed their A Level examinations, do not know what they’ll be doing or where they’ll be living in two months’ time. For many the transition into university is a simple rite of passage but for others the uncertainty is daunting. And let’s remember, it’s daunting for both the student and the parents.
In mid-August they will learn their destiny. Have they got the grades that will secure a place at their chosen university? If they haven’t, identifying a university which has a course that will meet their requirements becomes an urgent need. Either way some students, and parents, will find the whole process unsettling.
In all the speed and confusion it’s unlikely that students or parents will think to turn to their local hypnotherapist. It’s a great pity.
Every day hypnotherapists across the length and breadth of Britain assist people to recognise untapped strengths; strengths that will allow them to draw on their life experiences, skills and latent resources to deal positively with life’s challenges. Hypnotherapists can help clients turn setbacks into opportunities; and teach clients how to calm their mind so that they can best deal with the situation at hand. Hypnotherapists enable their clients to move forward in life - comfortably and confidently.
So, whether you’re a student looking to embark on the next stage in your education; or a parent facing a future with one less adult at home (for part of the year at least), consider contacting your local hypnotherapist for help as you deal with the emotions and challenges this life stage brings.
