Power selling with hypnotherapy
Tapping into the tremendous power of the subconscious mind can be very profitable when it comes to improving your sales performance. To understand the reason for this, it’s important to understand some differences between the conscious mind and the subconscious mind.
The first major difference between the conscious mind and the subconscious mind is the conscious mind is “process” driven while the subconscious mind is “goal” driven. In order to be an effective salesperson, the conscious mind needs a process while subconscious mind just needs a goal.
The conscious mind needs to have a sales process such as; to prospect for customers, establish needs, look for buying signals, overcome objections, close the deal and then to round off with add-on sales. This is a basic selling process and if practiced diligently enough, for long enough, will produce the sought after result.
The subconscious mind on the other hand just needs a goal to lock onto. It’ll work twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, three hundred and sixty five days a year to produce the result you desire, even while you’re fast asleep. The subconscious mind is an automatic mind.
The second major difference between the conscious mind and the subconscious mind is the conscious mind is a focussed mind, while the subconscious mind isn’t. Because the conscious mind is a focussed mind, it can only focus on one thing at a time. This is why it takes a long time to master the sales process.
The subconscious mind on the other hand is able to do many things at the same time. This is why you’re able to keep your heart beating, lungs, digestion, immune function, and temperature regulation all working at the same time, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, three hundred and sixty five days a year, even while you’re fast asleep.
Once the subconscious mind has locked onto a goal, it will automatically and relentlessly pursue the goal until achieved (as many professional sports people will tell you). The most direct way to help the subconscious mind to lock onto a goal is through the use of hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy provides an opportunity to communicate directly with the subconscious mind and to provide it with a sales goal which could be very beneficial to you.
